Allison Systems, Inc. Announces BadgePro®2000 Integration with Veridt LLC's CombiReader and CombiSmart®
Allison Systems, Inc. announces that it has released the final version of BadgePro®2000 which includes full integration with Veridt LLC's family of Combi products.
With this latest release, a client is able to design an ID card with a rich array of features including layered graphics, gradient backgrounds and the ASI trademarked feature RainbowSignature™. These cards also provide the full functionality offered by smart card technology. Biometric (fingerprint) technology is provided with this integration. This additional layer of security is quickly accomplished by enrollment on the same reader that reads the BadgePro produced card that allows access.
"The significant advantage to our clients is the convenience of producing ID cards with biometric information that is absolutely portable and does not require a data base of fingerprints to be produced or stored. The encrypted biometric template is stored on the card; not on a server," said John Tavares, President of Allison Systems, Inc.
These cards are read by a CombiReader or CombiSmart from Biocentric Solutions and when combined with a ControlPro® Access Control System from ASI or from almost any other manufacturer, can verify that the cardholder is the individual whose fingerprint resides in the smart card memory. This 2 Factor Authentication is a highly desired feature by customers wanting to ensure that lost cards are not used to improperly gain access to secure premises. | | [ Top ] |
