Card readers are specially designed for access control and fit practically any interface requirement. Our selection of available card readers support a broad range of applications such as turnstiles, high traffic areas, hazardous environments, and locations inside or outside of your facility. Many different combinations provide versatility and ruggedness and are available in attractive packaging. ASI offers full product lines from HID, Indala, AWID, Mercury, and IBC.

Proximity Readers

Our full line of HID proximity card readers include the ProxPoint Plus, MiniProx, MaxiProx, and ProxPro with available keypads. This complete line of card reader products from HID covers a wide spectrum of application needs. Additionally, we carry HID's iClass product line. This contactless smart card technology is specifically designed to make access control more powerful, more versatile, and more secure. HID Wiegand card readers are also available from ASI for swipe, insertion, or turnstile applications. With an integrated keypad and Wiegand technology, the PinPad supports outdoor environments with its robust housing.

ASI also carries Indala proximity and Mifare card readers. Indala card readers incorporate stylish design with consistent reliability. Available Indala card readers support magnetic stripe, proximity, or Weigand cards. Additional product features include card readers with keypad integration and long range support.

Proximity Cards/Key Fobs

In addition to a wide variety of card readers, we carry the complete line of HID, Indala, and AWID proximity cards, key fobs and proximity card and reader accessories.

ASI is an HID authorized programming partner and can encode and custom print 26 bit cards for express delivery. Additionally, we carry the full line of HID cards including iClass Smart Cards, Mifare, MicroProx, ISOProx, and DuoProx. HID proximity tags are also available, including the MicroProx and ProxPass active vehicle tag for seamless access control.

Our selection of Indala supplies includes the FlexISO proximity card and FlexKey key fob for placement on key rings, badge clips, or badge lanyards. Also available from ASI is the FlexCard proximity card, the FlexTag adhesive proximity tag, and FlexISO XT composite card for durable, long-lasting proximity use.

Magnetic Stripe Readers

HID offers a wide range of magnetic stripe readers fully equipped with both Clock-and-Data and Wiegand outputs. Combination readers read both magnetic stripe and proxmity cards, providing a seamless technology migration path from magnetic stripe to proximity.

With its complete range of OMNIKEY® readers - desk-top readers with contact or RFID interface, notebook models, and secure readers with PIN pad and display - HID Global offers one-stop shopping for any need in the area of ready-to-use PC smart card reader devices. In addition, HID Global offers advanced smart card terminals for special markets like e-health and national ID, as well as biometric devices.

OMNIKEY smart card reader chip sets and custom PCB´s are used by leading computer and peripheral makers to embed smart card reader technology into OEM products, like keyboards, notebooks, etc.
