| Answer: Open the card format (design) you want to encode a magstripe on. Click the "Select Format" button and then check the "Mag Encode" checkbox. Then click the button at the right of the track you want to encode and select the database fields and/or enter any static text you want. Do the same for any additional tracks you want to encode. |

| Question: After installing BadgeProŽ2000 and the smart card drivers, when I attempt to log into BadgeProŽ2000, I receive the error "Smart card not present". |
| Answer: First, click Cancel on the error message. Next, ensure that your BadgeProŽ2000 smart card is properly inserted in the card reader with the chip facing the Allison Systems logo on the smart card reader. Go to the Windows Control Panel. Launch the SCOS III utility (if not found, you may need to reinstall this utility, which is installed with the smart card drivers from your BadgeProŽ2000 CD). From the SCOS III Control Panel, click the "Detect" button. Your smart card reader should now appear in the list. Click OK. Launch BadgeProŽ2000. If you still receive the message, contact technical support at Allison Systems. |

Answer:
Click Start Menu
Click Run
Type: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ADO\msado15.dll"
Click OK
You should receive the message "DLLRegisterServer in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ADO\msado15.dll succeeded"
Click OK and log into BadgePro. |
